Job Summary:

This role is responsible for maintaining the sanitation of the facility in accordance with federal and state guidelines for food manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will adhere to the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and ensure compliance with company, customer, and third-party audit sanitation standards. Additionally, they will be expected to follow all safety rules and good manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute sanitation tasks as outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified.
  • Maintain daily reports, logs, and records according to standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other sanitation-related tasks in the facility and manage a high-paced environment to ensure efficient manufacturing processes and quality standards.
  • Ensure all safety and quality program standards are met within the facility.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Capacity to follow written instructions and pay close attention to details.
  • Capacity to follow specific work direction and adjust as necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Physical Demands:

  • Standing and walking for up to 12 hours.
  • Lifting and carrying objects weighing 25 to 50 pounds.
  • Pushing/pulling loads exceeding 1,000 pounds using a pallet jack.
