Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team at AdventHealth Celebration. As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and transportation services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support treatment, care, and evaluations to patients prior to and during transportation.
  • Identify, intervene, and stabilize patients during transport, under the direction of the medical director and protocols.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and treatments, as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and family members about patient illnesses and clinical interventions.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure the safety of transport team members, patients, and the general public.
  • Operate emergency vehicles safely in a variety of weather and emergent conditions in accordance to established safety standards.
Requirements
  • Graduated from a Paramedic program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Paramedic license required from the respective state board and/or respective state equivalent.
  • Valid Class E State Drivers License (or comparable state license), or Commercial License (CDL), and driving record in accordance with facility policy.
  • Commercial Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) (May be completed after hire) or Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates of Science in health-related field.
  • One-year experience emergency vehicle operations.
  • Ambulance transport experience.
