Mixology Expert

We are seeking a skilled Bar Service Specialist to join our team at Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for our patrons.

• Customer Service: Provide a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests, taking orders and delivering a variety of beverages with a smile.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ordering and stocking wine, liquor, and beer, as well as glassware and other supplies.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform opening and closing side work, ensuring the bar area is clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Age Verification: Verify customers' age and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Point of Sale: Receive payments, settle patron checks, and accurately record daily sales totals in our point of sale system.

• Time Management: Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
• Experience: Preferably some experience working in the food service industry, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
• Communication: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
