We are seeking a skilled Painting Crafts Specialist to join our team at Viejas Casino. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing journey-level work in the painting trades, including drywall, taping and finishing, floor and wall coverings, and specialty coatings.
Key Responsibilities- Refinish furniture in connection with the maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment.
- Inspect, maintain, and perform repairs to interior and exterior of facilities.
- Apply various types of paint, such as primers, sealers or oil, water, rubber, vinyl or cement based paints.
- Clean and install vinyl, ceramic, rubber, and asphalt tile and sheet vinyl floor coverings.
- Prepares parking areas for striping, preparing and striping center lines on streets and operating various equipment for the application of painted lines.
- Thorough journey level knowledge and skill in painting crafts.
- Journey level skill in maintenance and repair procedures.
- Knowledge and proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools related to job functions.
- Knowledge of building codes, rules and regulations.
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
