As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, developing and implementing evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create positive learning environments and support student success.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine students' academic, behavioral, emotional, and social strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to improve students' academic and social-emotional functioning
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create positive learning environments and support student success
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to students as needed
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote positive behavior support, mental health awareness, and academic achievement
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all services provided
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Active Illinois State School Psychologist License or eligibility for licensure
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for assessment, intervention, and consultation in schools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
