Job Highlights

Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a Travel RN - Pediatric ER with the following shift options: Variable or Straight Nights, 12x3, 36 hours per week. Contract Length: Options for 13 or 26 weeks. Essential Qualifications:
  • Active CA RN License
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a pediatric emergency department within a children's hospital
  • Proficiency in computerized charting
  • Experience in triage, IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Current PALS Certification
  • Preferred: Training in de-escalation techniques
Additional Information:

Candidates without pediatric experience in a children's hospital will not be considered.
**RN must possess a valid CA license or have a pending application with an estimated posting date.**
Requirements include:
• Current CA RN license
• BLS and PALS certifications
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a pediatric ED in a children's hospital (mixed adult/pediatric experience will not be accepted)
• Familiarity with computerized charting
• Experience in triage, IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation
Preferred qualifications include de-escalation training.
Shift details:
• 3x12 contracts, with variable shifts or straight nights
• Block scheduling can be requested
• Contracts available for 13 or 26 weeks
• Variable shift explanation: Travelers may be scheduled for any of the 7 different shifts based on facility needs, generally not alternating between day and night shifts within the same week.
COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
