Clinical Psychologist for Pediatric Transplantation

Role Purpose

This role serves as an integral part of our Organ Transplant Team, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing transplant procedures.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, assessing, and treating patients before, during, and after surgery. You will also collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess patients prior to surgery to identify potential mental health concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide psychotherapy and consultation services to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions and progress.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Psychologist (LP) or eligibility for licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with pediatric populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
