Job Title: Clinical Director

At Apis Services, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Director to lead our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work or a related field, with appropriate licensure and five years of post-master's experience in clinical and supervisory roles with at-risk children, youth, and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of agency models of treatment and therapeutic milieus for staff and treatment home providers
  • Provide professional consultation and supervision as necessary in individual, group, and/or collegial settings congruent with licensing board requirements and professional development plan
  • Consult on critical incidents and crisis intervention activities
  • Assist the Continuous Performance & Quality Improvement Committee and Program Directors with the development of relevant, meaningful program outcomes, helping them focus on results and positive discharges
  • Introduce improvements, support innovation and best practices in clinical services
  • Support program productivity, in conjunction with directors and admissions manager
  • Oversee the prompt, effective delivery of psychiatric services (evaluations and medication monitoring)
  • Ensure that clinical records are accurate, current, and meet standards and licensing regulations
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work or a related field, with appropriate licensure and five years post-master's experience clinical and supervisory with at-risk children, youth, and families
  • Other requirements include, but are not limited to:
    • A trauma-sensitive/strengths-based approach to both youth and staff
    • Excellent clinical assessment and intervention skills
    • Ability to train staff in clinical tasks (making complex concepts simple and clear)
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
    • Proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and good humor
    • Success in roles requiring timely execution of tasks while managing multiple priorities
    • Self-starter with initiative
    • Experience with PerformCare
