Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients, select assessment techniques, and establish patient care plans with necessary modalities, procedures, and education.
- Gather and interpret data from medical records, physician reports, and patient input.
- Establish functional goals and provide evidence-based intervention to meet goals with ongoing assessment.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and patient information for ongoing care.
- Communicate patient progress and coordinate treatment programs.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehab Tech/Aides as required.
- Hearing and vision adequate for communication and reading.
- Intelligible speech and cognitive skills necessary for job duties.
- Sitting, standing, and walking required throughout the day.
- Climbing stairs, kneeling, twisting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Lateral transfer of patients up to 100 pounds rarely.
- Work in a fast-paced clinical environment with indoor and outdoor settings.
- State license for Physical Therapy required.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required.
