We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mobile Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our DispatchHealth Management team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in their homes or at facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including portable x-rays and EKG exams, in a variety of settings.
- Collect and verify patient information and order documentation prior to procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
- Operate portable radiologic equipment and determine exposure factors based on patient needs.
- Process and transmit images in a timely manner, ensuring diagnostic quality.
- Complete records, visit logs, and reports according to standard protocols.
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
- Travel locally to diagnose patients in their homes or at facilities.
- Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs easily.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
