Caregiver Job Overview:

Touching Hearts at Home - Omaha is seeking a compassionate and reliable In Home Caregiver to provide support and care to clients in their homes. This individual contributor role involves ensuring clients' safety and well-being, and the ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives.

Caregiver Compensation & Benefits:
This part-time, hourly position offers a competitive compensation package of $15 to $18 per hour, paid semi-monthly. In addition, employees will receive access to training and development opportunities, as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Help with household chores such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
  • Monitor and document any changes in clients' health or behavior.
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients' families and healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Driver's License/Car Insurance/Reliable Transportation
  • Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license.
