Certified Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Spectrum Healthcare Partners. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to strict aseptic techniques and OR standards.
- Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures, including patient positioning, draping, and specimen handling.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including patient information, anesthesia, and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with the OR team to maintain a clean and organized operating room environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, new technologies, and surgical techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.
- Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Physical stamina to perform duties in a standing position for extended periods, with occasional lifting and bending.
