Position Overview:
The Housekeeping Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring that guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This position requires a dedication to providing friendly and efficient service to all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meticulously clean guest rooms in accordance with established standards.
- Prepare for cleaning by organizing guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens for the housekeeping cart.
- Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms and corridors.
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, public spaces, and storage areas.
- Restock the housekeeping cart in preparation for the following day’s tasks.
- Replenish cleaning supplies as necessary.
- Report any missing items from guest rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
- Notify the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager of any maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle lost and found items in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through attention to detail and service excellence.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in a hospitality environment.
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently.
Must be capable of standing for extended periods throughout the shift.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and team members in a courteous and service-oriented manner.
