Position Overview

This is a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient care primarily at the Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland campus, with the potential for care at other campuses in the East Bay.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to children with eye conditions
  • Contribute to the development of the pediatric ophthalmology division
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring of medical students and residents
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree
  • California medical license or eligibility for full, unrestricted licensure
  • Completion of fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology
