Job Summary:

The Behavioral Therapist/Behavior Specialist Consultant provides individual and family therapy, develops and revises Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs), and assists with crisis stabilization and problem-solving for patients. The role involves assessment of strengths and therapeutic needs, inclusion of patients and families in treatment, and collaboration with treatment teams to develop daily routines and crisis plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and family therapy, including assessment and treatment planning
  • Develop and revise ITPs, including crisis stabilization and problem-solving
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to develop daily routines and crisis plans
  • Assist with crisis stabilization and problem-solving for patients
  • Provide clinical direction and oversight of services to patients
Requirements:
  • PA License in Psychology/LPC/LCSW/LSW or BCBA certification
  • Minimum 1 year experience in providing mental health services to children, youth, and young adults
  • At least 9 credits specific to general practice in psychology, social work, or counseling
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance
  • Background clearances (as required by law)
