LPN Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with IntelyCare, you will have the opportunity to work in post-acute facilities in the Brighton, MA area. Our flexible scheduling allows you to choose the shifts you want to work and take time off as needed, without having to get approval.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities
  • Monitor residents' physical and mental conditions and track their vital signs
  • Perform resident intakes, document medical histories, and track health concerns
  • Administer and verify medications, track their use and effects
  • Cultivate a comfortable and safe facility for residents
  • Track residents' medical records and charts
  • Assist with IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures
  • Manage medical supplies and maintain inventory
  • Follow and adhere to resident care plans
  • Work with staff to orient and train new colleagues
Requirements:
  • Current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Completion of approved LPN educational program
  • High school graduation, GED, or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of experience (LPN or similar role)
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
