Compensation for this role will be based on your experience within the Cannabis sector. For those with minimal experience, the starting wage is $15.00 per hour, while candidates with commercial Cannabis experience may qualify for higher pay scales.

Position Summary

The Cannabis Horticulture Associate will collaborate with the Horticulture Team on various tasks across different sections of the garden, ensuring the production of top-notch products for our clientele. Candidates should arrive at work well-groomed, with a positive attitude, and be prepared for physically demanding shifts in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Horticulture Team in meeting production goals and maintaining quality standards.
  • Tasks include, but are not limited to:
    • Fertigation,
    • Plant care,
    • Harvesting,
    • Defoliation,
    • Thorough cleaning of cultivation and communal areas,
    • Trimming, and
    • Packaging of plant products.
  • Engage with Team Supervisors/Managers and support other areas when not occupied with primary duties.
  • Ensure personal hygiene and use of PPE throughout the cultivation process.
  • Adhere to best agricultural practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and inventories as required.

Qualifications

  • Availability on weekends.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to work in noisy environments.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in varying light conditions.
  • Able to work in low-oxygen environments.
  • Familiarity with handling potentially hazardous chemicals.
  • Understanding of compliance regulations and adherence to SOPs.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of cannabis cultivation.
  • Experience with plants or agricultural crops.
  • Flexible availability.
