As a Medication Aide at The Villages at Oak Ridge, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medication Aide to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering medications to residents, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents according to their individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident medication records
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address any medication-related concerns or issues
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance your knowledge and skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Certified License for QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) or CMA (Certified Medication Aide)
  • Experience as a QMA or CMA in a long-term care or home care setting (preferred)
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
