Bellman/Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bellman/Driver to join our team at Sonesta Hotels. As a Bellman/Driver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring the safety and security of our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promptly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, and assist them with their luggage and other needs.
• Transport guests to and from the hotel within a 3-mile radius, ensuring a safe and efficient experience.
• Perform a daily vehicle inspection of the shuttle at the start of the shift, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
• Load and unload guest luggage, and assist with any other tasks as assigned by management.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings, and remain vigilant at all times.
• Provide information to guests regarding local attractions and activities, and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to, delivering guest mail, messages, packages, and laundry.

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must speak fluent English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, and lift, carry, and store luggage and other items.
• Valid driver's license required, with a good driving record.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, and adapt to changing weather conditions.
• Ability to read and write, and comply with van driver and/or valet parker requirements.
• Flexibility to work AM/PM shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
