Job Title: Activity Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Activity Therapist to join our Behavioral Healthcare department at KSB Hospital. As an Activity Therapist, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing an activity therapy program that promotes the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement activity therapy programs that cater to the diverse needs of our patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Conduct assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized therapy plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on coping strategies and stress management techniques
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in activity therapy or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
