Diagnostic Technologist

We are looking for a highly skilled Radiologic Assistant to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for assisting radiologists and other healthcare professionals in performing diagnostic procedures.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of medical imaging principles and practices, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist radiologists and other healthcare professionals in performing diagnostic procedures
• Select appropriate imaging techniques and operate medical imaging equipment
• Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to PACS

Education and Qualifications:

• Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school
• Registered with the ARRT in Radiography and MR
• 1 year of experience in medical imaging
