Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in cardiac stepdown care to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our team. As a Clinical Cardiac Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

This role requires a strong foundation in cardiac nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs, and develop individualized care plans that address their unique requirements.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure timely and effective care delivery.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects.
  • Educational Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
  • At least 1 year of experience in cardiac stepdown care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
