The Role: As our new Palliative Care Medical Director, you'll lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional care to members with serious illnesses. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Clinical Oversight: Provide expert guidance to our growing team of Nurse Practitioners and ensure seamless integration of palliative care services.
- Interdisciplinary Case Conferences: Lead collaborative discussions to create personalized care plans that address the unique needs of our members.
- Patient Engagement: Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Program Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate and scale our serious illness program, driving member-centered outcomes and success in partnerships.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-training clinical experience, preferably in palliative care, with a focus on oncology patients in the outpatient setting.
- Licensure: Unrestricted medical license and willingness to obtain additional state licenses, as needed.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate and guide teams towards shared goals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on empathy and active listening.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: $240,000-$255,000 base salary (dependent on location)
