We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant in a school-based setting. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities, and create and implement individualized treatment plans to address their needs.
- Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote effective communication.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs, and participate in IEP meetings to contribute to educational plans.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia.
- Certification and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply. A minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy is required.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively within a school environment, and a commitment to providing high-quality services to students.
