Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team at Blaine Bros Maintenance Inc. As a Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of semi-trailers and other types of trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to determine vehicle condition and identify worn and damaged parts.
  • Perform repair and customization work as assigned, including routine maintenance, brake replacement/repair, suspension repair, electrical and pneumatic and hydraulic component troubleshooting and repair, trailer body repair, and complete trailer rebuild.
  • Provide after-sale services, such as component installation.
  • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure the final work product meets quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers.
Requirements
  • Great work ethic and willingness to jump in and help out where needed.
  • Technical aptitude with basic electric diagnostic/troubleshooting experience a plus.
  • Welding experience a plus.
  • Basic tool set and tool box to start (assistance programs available).
  • Ability to lift lbs. occasionally and 10-50 lbs. frequently.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliability and a dedication to be a hard worker.
  • Ability to work independently maintaining a safe, efficient, and friendly work environment.
