Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY
The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing, designing, and executing tailored treatment plans for patients, adhering to established physical therapy methodologies. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care. The Physical Therapist will also oversee and guide the activities of licensed physical therapist assistants, technicians, and other support personnel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
  2. Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and enhance treatment outcomes.
  3. Supervision: Delegate tasks and monitor the performance of support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
Experience: No prior experience required.
Licenses/Certifications: Must possess a valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas or be eligible for licensure. Current BLS certification is required prior to patient interaction. A valid Texas Driver's License is necessary for designated drivers as per company policy.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Proficient in data entry and familiar with rehabilitation technologies and equipment.
