Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our IT Security team at Cyber Resource. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of security technologies and best practices, providing guidance and expertise to enhance our security posture and address emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide security technology solutions and insights on best practices and emerging trends.
  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies that align with organizational goals, ensuring they meet security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of security technologies.
  • Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities, advising on risk mitigation strategies and solutions.
  • Assist in the creation and refinement of security policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect current technologies and compliance standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to align security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in information security with a focus on security technologies.
  • Proven expertise in specific security technologies (e.g. SIEM, DLP, IAM, cloud security).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts in a clear and relatable manner.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP) preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in project management and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proficient in documentation tools (e.g. Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Confluence).
