Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our patient care team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, educating patients on oral health, and collaborating with our dental team to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform licensed hygiene procedures, including exposing and evaluating diagnostic x-rays, taking and recording blood pressure, and conducting adult and child prophylaxis.
  • Verify and document patient health history, educate patients on oral hygiene and health, and provide information on procedures and services offered.
  • Establish and maintain continued patient care relationships, determining patient needs and performing sealant placement, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as required.
  • Collaborate with the dentist to co-assess possible restorative treatments and provide recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Dental hygiene certification from an accredited dental hygiene school.
  • Current hygiene license in the state where employed.
  • Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training as required by law.
  • Experience with dental software.
