Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive breastfeeding services and programs
  • Provide expert clinical support and education to patients, staff, and families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop protocols, policies, and procedures
  • Assess learning needs of staff and provide formal and informal educational opportunities
  • Participate in identifying and achieving unit, departmental, and institutional goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Five (5) years of experience in the care of breastfeeding mothers and babies
