Corewell Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our Hematology Oncology team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide leadership and expertise in clinical pharmacy services, ensuring the highest quality patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Expertise: Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, to patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including medication use evaluations, to optimize patient outcomes and reduce medication-related errors.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to pharmacy residents, students, and other healthcare professionals on hematology and oncology pharmacotherapy.
- Research and Development: Participate in research and development projects, including clinical trials, to advance the field of hematology and oncology pharmacotherapy.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
- Experience: 3 years of relevant experience as a clinical pharmacist or pharmacy residency/fellowship.
- Licensure: Licensed Clinical Pharmacist in the State of Michigan or eligible to obtain upon hire.
