Round-Peg Solutions (RPS) is a forward-thinking organization in the heavy machinery sector, currently navigating an exciting transition towards automation to optimize their production facilities. We are in search of a dedicated General Manager to oversee all operational aspects of the site, ensuring processes are not only efficient but also effective, while spearheading the commercial team to foster revenue growth and broaden the customer base.
Key Responsibilities of the General Manager
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and team to devise the most effective strategies.
- Guarantee production efficiency and compliance with quality benchmarks.
- Enhance labor efficiencies to boost productivity and reduce expenses.
- Partner with Sales and Finance to create a robust S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) framework.
- Lead the engineering team, managing all new product launches and design initiatives while supporting the current product lineup.
- Identify and apply cost-effective design and technological solutions to maximize profitability and remain competitive in the market.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key clients and distributors globally.
- Participate in industry events and trade exhibitions to showcase brand offerings.
- Ensure the organization delivers accurate and timely financial reporting, encompassing pricing, forecasting, S&OP planning, and various organization-specific metrics.
Qualifications for the General Manager
- Degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Extensive technical and commercial experience.
- Demonstrated success in product design with expertise in the Heavy Equipment sector; experience with conveyors is advantageous.
- Ability to translate market demands into marketable products.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range of $165,000 - $185,000 USD plus bonuses and executive benefits.
