Job Title: Special Procedures Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team at GreenLife Healthcare Staffing. As a Special Procedures Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and CT scans.

Job Summary:

The Special Procedures Technologist will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform medical imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and CT scans
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and draping
  • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a medical imaging setting
  • Valid license or certification in state of practice, if applicable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of professionalism during stressful times
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Background and drug screen
  • Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit
