We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Technician with robotics experience for a travel assignment at St Josephs Westgate Medical Center in Arizona.

Requirements
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Verification
  • COVID Vaccine Required
  • 2 years of experience in OR/Operating Room with robotics
  • Active BLS certification
Schedule Information
  • Varied start times; Saturday and Sunday call every 5-6 weeks.
  • One call day per week.
  • 6:30-3:30 Mon-Fri call is required one weekend every 4-5 weeks (Saturday and Sunday 48hrs), 1 weekday call
Unit Specific Information
  • Unit: OR/Pre/Post
  • OR - 4 rooms, PACU - 5 bed, Phase shared with ED.
  • Cases include: Bariatric, Peds, Endo, Some ICU level background
  • EMR: Cerner and Surginet
  • Charge Nurse: Yes, 1 for OR and 1 for PACU.
  • Nurse Aides: CSTs, Sterile processing techs.
  • Weekend Requirement: Saturday and Sunday call every 5-6 weeks.
  • Scrub Color: Provided
  • Tele: Phillips
  • RT 24/7: Yes
  • Pharmacy 24/7: 6am-5pm, nights via main campus
  • Floating: May float to SJH main OR
  • Floor-specific orientation: 2 days on floor.
  • Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Bariatric, Peds, Endo, Some ICU level background helpful.
