Key Responsibilities- Perform Diagnostic Examinations: Conduct primary diagnostic examinations to diagnose or decide the optimal procedure for patients.
- Ensure Patient Care: Create a tranquil environment for patients, ensuring they adhere to examination instructions and protecting them from excessive radiation.
- Operate Imaging Equipment: Perform x-rays at optimal quality and maintain quality standards related to HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate with Patients: Provide clear instructions and information to patients, ensuring they understand follow-up steps and requirements.
- Review Examinations: Review each examination for technical accuracy and present completed examinations to radiologists, communicating pertinent data to relevant parties.
- Education: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine.
- Certification: ARRT certified.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience as a general Radiologic Technologist.
