Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, utilizing the nursing process and clinical skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness through effective communication and empathy.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective management of patient flow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current state nursing license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (or obtained during orientation) and maintain certification throughout employment.
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications within specified timeframes, as required by the facility.
- Minimum of 4-6 months of experience as an employed nursing student in the specific unit, or one year as an RN in a hospital setting.
