Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire high-quality images for use by radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire images for use by radiologists.
  • Maintain knowledge of different CT systems and protocols to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Develop and maintain protocols based on ImageGently guidelines and CT scanner integration to ensure patient safety and optimal image quality.
  • Obtain CT images according to established protocols, ensuring patient preparation, positioning, and technical factors are optimized.
  • Perform CT Interventional Procedures, including CTA imaging and cardiac imaging.
  • Interpret technical factors to increase quality or speed of scan.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified Radiology Technologist within 12 months - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Excellent communication and diagnostic imaging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
