About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team in a unique and challenging role. As a patient care and imaging specialist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic exams, assisting physicians, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Position patients under X-ray machines, adjust immobilization devices, and provide radiation protection
  • Perform patient care activities, including procedures, EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections
  • Prepare reports and maintain records of services rendered
  • Maintain radiological film files and storage, and pull X-rays as required for referrals or copying
  • Keep logs for X-rays sent out for referrals and consolidate X-rays performed against reports received

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited program for Radiological Technology or Basic X-Ray Machine Operator
  • Two years of experience as an X-ray Technologist in a corresponding setting preferred
  • EMR system experience preferred
  • Licensed and/or certified if required by state regulations
  • CPR for Healthcare Providers certification required
