We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in the Emergency Department at St. Joseph's Hospital in Bangor, Maine. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

About the Role

This is a part-time and per diem position, offering a variable weekly schedule with 8, 10, or 12-hour daytime shifts. You will work closely with our emergency medicine physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Our department features single physician coverage with 5 hours of overlap and double PA coverage during peak periods.

Requirements

We are seeking a Physician Assistant with a U.S.-based Emergency Medicine fellowship and at least one year of clinical experience. Candidates with 3+ years of full-time clinical experience will also be considered. Nurse Practitioner applicants must be highly qualified, with prior Emergency Department and trauma experience.
