Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in a Family Medicine setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work closely with our supervising physicians, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive history and physical exams, and develop treatment plans for new and established patients.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians to provide follow-up care and health maintenance services, as needed.
  • Initiate appropriate treatments and testing required for the evaluation of illness, based on your training and experience.
  • Provide counseling and instruction to patients regarding health-related issues, and communicate effectively with patients and family members about their care.
  • Document clinical care according to established guidelines, and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
  • 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a Family Medicine setting
  • Board certification as a Physician Assistant, and licensure to practice in the state of Texas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a clinical setting, with frequent exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissues
  • May be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
