The Salem Hospital, Inc. seeks a skilled Cardiac Sonographer II to join our team in performing high-quality cardiac ultrasound procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac diagnostic ultrasound and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform professional quality cardiac ultrasound procedures, including M-MODE, 2D (real time), PW/CW DOPPLER, COLOR FLOW IMAGING, TRANSESOPHAGEAL AND CONTRAST ULTRASOUND studies.
  • Ensure all procedures are performed according to the standards and guidelines of the American Society of Echocardiography.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, physics, and principles of cardiac ultrasound.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.

**Requirements:**

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cardiac ultrasound procedures.
  • Completion of a Cardiac Diagnostic Ultrasound education program.

**Work Schedule:**

  • One weekend per month, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.
  • Rotation of on-call coverage, approximately once every 8 weeks.
