Job Description
Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Coach/Teacher at Rec Place Afterschool. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating engaging experiences for children, leading activities, and fostering a sense of adventure and creativity.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement educational programs and activities that promote learning and fun for children from kindergarten to 5th grade.
  • Lead hour-long activities, including sports, STEM projects, arts and crafts, and outdoor play, in a variety of spaces such as the gymnasium, art room, or recreation room.
  • Collaborate with experienced teachers to ensure a cohesive and engaging experience for children.
  • Prepare engaging activities and snacks prior to the children's arrival, and interact with children during meal times and outdoor play.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children in a educational or recreational setting.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive activities.
  • Flexibility to work a part-time schedule with varying hours.
