In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our program participants. As a Lead Day Habilitation Specialist, you will work collaboratively with our team to create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters growth and development. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities;
  • Developing and implementing personalized plans to meet the unique needs of each individual;
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services;
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of progress and outcomes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  • One-year experience in OPWDD field required. Two (2) years of ACLD experience preferred;
  • Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed;
  • Valid NYS driver's license;
