Position Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Teacher certified in Visual Impairment (TVI) to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, with a focus on visual impairment.

As a TVI, you will work closely with students, teachers, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans.

You will be responsible for assessing student needs, creating lesson plans, and providing instruction and support.

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for this position include:

  • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Teacher certified in Visual Impairment (TVI) within the last 3 years
  • Valid Teacher certified in Visual Impairment (TVI) credential/license or in process in state of practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
