CT Technologist

Carilion Clinic is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating complex imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients for optimal image quality and safety.
• Administer contrast media and other medications as required.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in imaging technology and techniques.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
