Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. **Program Development**: Formulating, modifying, and endorsing engineering programs, budgets, design methodologies, documentation, testing protocols, and policies for specific technical domains.
2. **Standards Creation**: Establishing program standards and identifying regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and operability of technical devices.
3. **Maintenance Oversight**: Managing preventative maintenance, repair, and parts management for assigned technical equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
4. **Documentation and Metrics**: Implementing records management and developing metrics to assess program efficacy.
5. **Training and Expertise**: Providing training and serving as a subject matter expert, advising laboratory staff and collaborating with stakeholders to develop and present design solutions.
6. **Design Solutions**: Producing and documenting effective design solutions through complex engineering calculations and CAD designs to support the fabrication, assembly, and commissioning of technical equipment.
