Job Summary

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest level of care and quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and supervise assigned unit activities and staff assignments
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to nursing staff
  • Identify and respond to patient needs in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Monitor and document vital signs, treatments, and patient responses
  • Administer medications and treatments as needed
  • Communicate with interdisciplinary team members, physicians, and other vendors/services
  • Perform RN assessments and lead emergency situations
  • Maintain accurate nursing reports, staffing sheets, and census roster
Requirements
  • Current and good standing RN License in State of New York
  • Previous experience with geriatric/short-term rehabilitation/Alzheimer's patients is desirable
  • Progressive nursing experience in a geriatric setting, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills
  • Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff
