Forensic Psychologist Opportunity

Centurion Health is seeking a highly skilled Forensic Psychologist to join our team in Barnstable, Massachusetts. As a Forensic Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, treatment, and determination of appropriate dispositions for individuals who are mentally ill or have substance use issues and are brought before the Courts on criminal and/or civil matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, treatment, and determination of appropriate dispositions
  • Travel between courts throughout the work day to provide services
  • Evaluate the need for Emergency Hospitalization, Competence to Stand Trial or Criminal Responsibility Screening Evaluations, and other statutory obligations
  • Provide consultation to the court and help to facilitate and coordinate statutory evaluations assigned to colleagues
  • Triage cases and make referrals to community providers and services
Requirements:
  • Active licensed Psychologist by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe
  • Current/valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Experience working with court-involved criminal defendants preferred
