NICU Registered Nurse PRN Days

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our NICU team on a PRN (as needed) basis, working days from 7am to 7pm. As a member of our team, you will provide direct comprehensive nursing care to patients from admission to discharge, working collaboratively with our Neonatal NPs and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, meeting the needs of patients, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient conditions
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Our NICU provides level II care to infants as early as 32 weeks' gestation or 1,500 grams and above. We have 6 rooms and a team of experienced nurses and Neonatal NPs who provide expert care to our patients. We accept readmit infants from home for up to 30 days and have a strong focus on teamwork and innovation.
Requirements- Current Indiana or compact state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
- NRP certification (obtained within 6 months of hire)
- S.T.A.B.L.E certification (obtained within 1 year of hire)
- Minimum of 2 years of previous RN experience in Women's Health (required for PRN position)
