Job Summary:

Lancaster General Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, including patient positioning, technique selection, and radiation protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine diagnostic radiographic procedures through proper patient positioning, technique selection, and application of immobilization and radiation protection devices.
  • Operate and enter information through the hospital computer system, documenting required information and patient history in the electronic medical record.
  • Complete examination, consultation, and billing procedures as required, performing POC testing, Universal Protocol, and other paperwork as applicable.
  • Accurately and appropriately utilize all computer-related equipment, such as the electronic health record, email, and the intranet.
  • May require travel to various site locations.
  • Perform visual preventive safety inspections, completing warm-up procedures for each radiographic room/equipment as assigned, and recording quality control activities.
  • Maintain necessary inventory supplies for assigned workstation, rotating stock in an orderly fashion and eliminating outdated items.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiological Technology School.
  • Two (2) years of clinical experience beyond training.
