POSITION TYPE: Registered Nurse (RN)
SPECIALTY UNIT: Medical Unit
LOCATION: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Schedule: This position requires three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Compensation: Night Shift Differential of $5.75, along with a $20K Sign-On Bonus contingent on a one-year commitment (paid within the first 45 days) and up to $8K Relocation Bonus.
This unit specializes in the care of patients with stroke and respiratory issues, featuring dedicated rooms for reverse isolation and ventilator support. Additionally, we cater to a diverse range of medical patients, including those with endocrine, cardiac, gastrointestinal, genitourinary conditions, as well as trauma, surgical, oncology, and orthopedic overflow cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility and accountability for patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team and the patient/family to address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Utilize the nursing process to promote optimal health, safety, and well-being of patients, adhering to established care standards and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, aligning with the organizational mission and core values.

Qualifications:
- Current RN License required; must comply with state nursing license regulations.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is mandatory for new graduates and preferred for experienced RNs.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience is essential.
